Broussard, La. – The City of Broussard invites residents and businesses to help honor and remember veterans by purchasing engraved memorial bricks that will become a permanent part of the Broussard Veterans Memorial, currently under construction at the Broussard Sports Complex at St. Julien Park.

“Our veterans deserve to be honored and remembered,” said Broussard Mayor Ray Bourque. “An engraved brick is a small but meaningful way to express our gratitude and ensure that the legacy of those who served continues to be remembered.”

The engraved bricks will enhance the memorial’s message and serve as a lasting tribute to the men and women who have served our nation and defended our freedom. The memorial’s brick walkway will commemorate members of the United States Armed Forces who have served in conflicts around the world while providing future generations with a meaningful reminder of their sacrifices and service.

Families that donate to the memorial can have their names on a special memorial donation plaque, recognizing those who made the memorial possible. All funds raised through the brick campaign will help maintain the Broussard Veterans Memorial, ensuring this important community landmark remains a place where veterans and their families can be honored for generations to come.

You can submit orders online at cityofbroussard.com or by completing an order form available at Broussard City Hall.

To help ensure placement at the Broussard Veterans Memorial, submit orders by December 31, 2026.
