On his last night as an only child, 2-year-old Brigsby Langford made some new friends.
Two Broussard Police officers were patrolling his neighborhood Monday night, and the toddler and his dad flagged them down.
“He loves police cars and was waving at them,” dad Matt Langford said. “They stopped and let him ‘drive,’ turn on the siren and look at the lights.”
They even deputized him with a sticker badge and gave him a stuffed animal. Brigsby clutched a purple toy whale and grinning in photos from that night, his badge on his blue T-shirt.
