$24 million in capital outlay projects in state budget for Lafayette Parish

This $4.4M investment from the state (Hwy. 182 to Hwy 90), coupled with the City’s $2.9M on the second phase of the S. Bernard extension, will make for a seamless 4-lane road all the way from Fairfield Ave. to Hwy. 90, alleviating traffic congestion on S. Morgan and Main St. and stimulating economic development along that corridor.
