The City of Broussard, the Broussard Fire Department, and Our Lady of Lourdes are hosting a blood drive on June 14th to benefit Firefighter Alex Bourque, who was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. This blood drive will help offset his medical expenses.
Alex is 25, married with one child, and he and his wife are expecting their second child in a few months. As a firefighter, Alex has gone above and beyond for others, without hesitation. Let us all give whatever support we are able to give to support him and his family in their time of need.
